I have founded an exciting new choir program for youth ages 13-24, for singers in the Seattle Metropolitan area. This is envisioned as a mixed choir program for young men and women that specializes in outstanding chamber chorus repertoire. There is a tuition for these programs, andRehearsals are Tuesdays 6:30 to 9:00 PM. There will be at least three concerts per year, an overnight retreat, and one or more festivals in the spring, both competitive and non-competitive. Students/families interested in singing, must schedule a vocal placement audition/'interview with the director and co-director of the ensembles. Some cutting edge aspects of this program will be an emphasis on student composition, contemporary improvisation, and thematic development of concerts as a holistic learning experience, drawing from a wide array of influences. both sacred and secular. Our year will be broken into four 10 week sessions, culminating in a shared concert with the Carillon Chamber Orchestra. In December excerpts from the Messiah by Handel closed the concert. The winter session will feature Mozart's Regina Coeli, in C, K 246. The inaugural concert in December earned both ensembles a warm standing ovation. A program of the Kirkland Music Academy, tuition per singer per session is $150.

Teach a full range of ages and ability levels in voice and piano, for the non -profit Kirkland Academy of Music and Performance . In addition, I serve as the Coordinator of our ever growing ABRSM programs, (Royal Academy of Music), in piano, voice, strings, guitar and woodwinds.

I founded the Carillon Chamber Orchestra, in October of 2014, to be a sister ensemble to the Carillon Chamber SIngers. Also a youth music organization , for players 13 to mid 20's. We don't exclude anyone based solely on age, ask about our mentorship positions! This group has had an extraordinary first two seasons. Wide ranging repertoire from Corelli to Cuban Tango! Collaborate each concert in a finale with the Carillon Chamber SIngers, in a movement from a major choral/string orchestra work. Precision and artistry are hallmarks of this outstanding group of young string players. I sing second tenor in this award winning ensemble, and am a founding member. I have frequently been called upon to lead rehearsals when the conductor and founder Eric Banks has been called away. I have conducted this ensemble in concert, the most recently in 2006. I was co-director of The Esoterics during the 1997-98 season, and also served as accompanist under the other co-director, Jeffrey Cooper.

I am approaching my 1st anniversary as Music Director at Kirkland Congregational Church-UCC, in Kirkland, WA. Very glad to be in this position, where I get to both play the piano weekly, lead the choir, lead the congregation in their Sunday musical worship experiences, work closely with the pastor and staff to support them in every way I can, and to help this lovely and progressive congregation to achieve their missions of social justice, economic fairness, education, and support of the arts.

I am the recently former Director of Choral and Orchestral Music at Lake Washington High School, and coordinator of the piano and world drumming programs. I also taught music theory. My ensembles have consistently won top ratings and awards at regional, state, and national competitions.

Served as organist./pianist for all worship services. Planned hymns and liturgy and led worship every Sunday. Was choral accompanist under Dr. Bonnie Thoreson, choir director. Helped with children's music program, including helping to launch annual Christmas pageant.
