Students experienced high success after years of low performance.• In charge of marching band fundamentals and brass/percussion music. The marching band has been awarded 1st place in competitions, received superior ratings at UIL, and competed at Area for the first time in school history in 2015. Brass has received consistent “best overall brass” caption awards in marching contests.• Established the La Pryor Jazz Ensemble. Received a great response from the community including being featured in the Uvalde Leader News twice. Received a 1st division at the Bandera HS Jazz Festival.• Director of the Junior High Band.
