• I was responsible for the management of the over $800M project which successfully replaced the interim outfall canal pump stations at the three main outfall canals in New Orleans with the Permanent Canal Closure and Pumps.• This project was successfully awarded within the estimated $700M.• I successfully managed the writing of the Request for Proposals (RFP), the completion of the Environmental Report, gained the Partnership Agreement with the Non-Federal Sponsors, Orleans Parish Sewage and Water Board, CPRA, SLFPA-E and the Orleans Levee District and the procurement process of the project.• Finalized the real estate acquisition and prepared for the project kickoff and outlining the requirements of the Stakeholder involvement.• I was part of the selection committee during the selection of the contractor.

• Senior Project Manager in the Hurricane Protection Office.• Successfully managed 20 projects which had a cost of $66.2M from engineering, design, production of plans and specifications by a contracted Engineering Firm, through procurement, award, construction and close out.• These projects were for the Task Force effort to repair damage caused by Hurricane Katrina to Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard and Plaquemine Parish pump stations, totaling $123M.• Coordinated with the following levee districts as a part of this project, Orleans, Pontchartrain, Lafourche, East and West Jefferson, Algiers and Lake Borgne, and was presenting to them and attending meetings as they were forming into SLFPA-East and SLFPA-West after Hurricane Katrina as well as CPRA.• Orleans Parish Non-Federal Pump Station Storm Proofing – Managed the development of this project to include the Project Management Plan (PMP), program budget of $240M, schedule, assessment report developed by outside engineering firm, Project Prioritization Decision Matrix (PPDM), Cooperation Agreement (CA), Rights of Entry (ROE), Project Information Reports (PIR), Environmental Assessment (EA), permitting and all other actions required to take a project from authorization and funding by Congress to agreement on the appropriate course of action, to project acceptance and final closeout.

Construction and Design Projects:• West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee (St. Charles Parish) – Managing the construction of a portion of this levee and in the process of getting permitted another portion of this levee. Levee includes pump stations and equalizer structures that will maintain the swamp within the levees.• Lapalco Blvd. (Jefferson Parish) – Designed subsurface drainage system, cross drains, vertical alignments, typical sections and plans. Managed the construction phase of this project. Responsibilities include: approving pay estimates and material submittals, resolving all construction and design problems, managing material sampling plans, coordinating with parish officials, contractors and property owners, submitting plan changes to proper agencies, and managing field books and daily diaries. Also responsible for managing and supervising all inspection activities for this federally funded project. Construction Cost: $9.1M.• East Baton Rouge Parish (EBRP) Wide Sewer Rehabilitation Project – Prepared design report, plans, specifications, and contract documents. Managed five of these projects during construction from1996 - 2002. I worked with these projects from scope development through completed construction.

Construction and Design Projects:• Successfully engineered, designed and surveyed of the following LADOTD road design projects: o LA 964 – US 61 to LA 63 o US 171 – Many, Sabine Parish o Groom Rd – LA 964 to LA 19 o Lapalco Blvd – Barataria Blvd to Harvey Canal• Lapalco Blvd. (Jefferson Parish) – Successfully completed the project management of this LADOTD supervised project due to federal funding. This project was successfully completed by Boh Brothers Construction Company and was completed on time and within budget to all Stakeholders satisfaction. Construction Cost: $9.1M.• St John the Baptist Parish Master Drainage Plan – Completed a Master Drainage Plan for the Parish, preforming all hydrologic and hydraulic modeling in SWMM and certain portions in HEC-RAS. Completion of this Master Plan allowed for the development of drainage projects which were constructed to help reduce flooding. • East Baton Rouge Parish (EBRP) Wide Sewer Rehabilitation Project – Prepared engineering report, plans, specifications, and contract documents for many Sewer Rehab Projects. I successfully managed five of these projects during construction from1996 – 2002 with a combined construction cost of over $6.9M. • Copper Mill Golf Course Project (Zachary, LA) – Prepared preliminary design for subdivision layout including water, sewer, gas, subsurface drainage, and roadways. Prepared plat map for subdividing lots.• DFIRM (Jefferson Parish) – developed the hydrologic model to be used in the hydraulic model of the parish for the production of digital flood insurance rate maps for Jefferson Parish.

• St John the Baptist Parish Master Drainage Plan - Managed the project development for this project. Managed the surveying by our company and created the SWMM model for half the Parish while managing a subcontractor who created the model for the other half. Processed and sorted all raw survey data, created digital terrain model, imported data into XP-SWMM32 and built, calibrated, and ran the simulation model for the entire parish. Coordinated with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for use of our drainage model for the sizing of their pump stations for their proposed West Lake Pontchartrain Hurricane Protection Levee.
