Served as the central procurement and contracting officer for the District and as the Director of the Office of Contracting and Procurement with oversight and management of $18.4 million budget and 151 full time staff. The division processed contracts for goods and services in excess of $1 billion dollars for the District. Managed audit and compliance efforts of procurements in excess of $100,000 and directed a sustainable contract administration process for execution of contracts, vendor performance, sourcing and procurement strategy and timely payment for receipt of goods and services.

Responsible for the State of North Carolina’s Procurement Program with budget oversight of $3.3 million with management of Central Division operations of 45 employees and provided goods and services of over $4 billion dollars within budget. Responsible for acquisition of equipment/materials, and supplies for over 30 State Cabinet agencies, 16 State Universities, 58 Community Colleges, 15 Hospitals and Institutions. Managed and responsible for oversight for the Division of Purchase and Contract in execution of contracts and purchasing of goods and services in accordance with statutory authority and good purchasing policy.
