James, an Emmy Award Winning Director and award winning visual designer with a passion for storytelling, fully believes in the power of human centered / empathetic design. Currently, he leads compositing, animation and motion graphics at Milkhaus creating everything from kinetic typography for clients such as the Human Rights Campaign, to product animations for Sierra Mist to frame by frame live action tummy tucks on actors in national commercials to visual effects for documentaries on Netflix and HBO. His deeply diverse skills in the industry generate accolades from directors, clients and producers as the trusted source to push the boundaries both technically and conceptually. He has been the lead composite artist for the green-screened and composited feature documentary films and series Allen v. Farrow, 78/52, Game Changers, Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics, and Being Evel, featuring Johnny Knoxville, which consisted of 60 interviews in 25 locations with 4 camera angles.
