As the Director of Global Certifications Operations, I lead the strategic direction and execution of initiatives within the global certifications department. Responsible for the development, management and execution of all educational programming offered by the association. Expanded web-based seminar series from ten annual programs to thirty and increase revenue generated from web-based offerings by more than 125%. Launched two semi-annual conferences, each realizing margins of 30% to 40% and demonstrated consistent attendee growth. Oversee the development and execution of two national conference/expositions with attendance of more than 800 and 80 exhibitors.Established and manage a centralized meeting services procurement group that is responsible of sourcing and management of 45 to 60 international and domestic meetings conducted by the association. Responsibilities include; budget development, site selection, and contract negotiations; manage overall conference department timeline ensuring teams are on task, meeting deadlines and delivering programs on budget; manage, research and develop program content through member committees, FEI’s research foundation and external partners and sponsors; manage exhibit/sponsor sales, logistics and marketing; motivate and manage a department staff of four meeting professionals.

Managed all aspects of conference and seminar development and management; business proposal, pro forma P&L’s, budgeting, content development, sponsor and attendee marketing, registration, venue selection, operations, contract negotiation and new business development. Expanded the magazine group’s conference business from one to five events within 3 years and maintained or increased profit margins through cost containment and new revenue opportunities. Increased attendee participation from static growth to 20% for the past two years. Additionally managed the marketing and promotion efforts of Treasury & Risk Management and Investment Advisor magazines, reader profile studies, custom research projects, media kit development, monthly ad sales promotions and development of presentation materials for sales team.

Responsible for the development and implementation of brand marketing program designed to build a single corporate identity after the acquisition of DoHealth, a Salt Lake City based health Promotion Company. Through integrated marketing program consisting of events, print, online, radio and outdoor advertising achieved a growth in readership, advertising and strategic partner membership. Retained and managed new public relations and advertising agency to assist in executing marketing/branding campaign.

Responsible for development and implementation of promotion and marketing strategies to drive sales for Internet group's print and online properties, Internet World Magazine and Internet World News. Initiate and manage research efforts, prepare industry status reports, defining and implementing market research projects, and coordinating internal requests for industry trend information.
