Smurfit Kappa is one of the leading producers of paper-based packaging in the world with over 45,000 employees across 34 countries and sales revenue of €8 + billion in 2016.We are an integrated producer, with our packaging plants sourcing the major part of their raw material requirements from our own paper mills. In turn, the sourcing of recovered fibre and wood for the mills is managed through a combination of our own reclamation and forestry operations and purchases from third parties.Smurfit Kappa UK has 40 + sites and a head office structure. There are 4,500 employees. Over the last five years we have standardised onto 2 OTC platforms, COBIS and Dynamics NAV as well as the group standards Artios CAD, SAP and HFM.My role is accountable for all aspects of IT management at the £600m+ UK division of a leading global paper packaging manufacturing organisation operating across the UK

Reporting to Group CIO and UK CFO.Heading up the SAP project to incorporate TM Telford as part of the Mueller Group SAP instance. This is being done in conjunction with moving TM Telford to the Mueller Group network and introducing Mueller Group Standards.Managing the transition between the NOEM AG systems and the Mueller System, based on the service contracts agreed at when UK factory was acquired.

Reporting to UK Managing Director and Group CIO with full responsibility for UK IT and Group infrastructure and data centers. Managing teams in both the UK and Austria. Responsible for implementing infrastructure upgrades both hardware and software across the group. In charge of adopting and defining new SAP process in the UK.

Reporting to Managing Director and Group CIO with direct responsibility for UK IT and SAP implementation. Planned and implemented installation of LAN and WAN network on a greenfield site. Introduced local IT policies and procedures. Planning and budgeting for the local IT department and projects.
