    Represent and promote the University’s facilities at external networking and marketing events to increase the team’s profile and generate new business with high commercial or PR value. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, partners and clients such as event agencies, event management companies, local business networks and destination management companies.Prepare bids to secure large international conferences and events, as well as working in partnership with larger events across Manchester. Conduct benchmarking of similar products in other HEI’s and competitor venues to ensure they are competitively priced and offer value for money. Report on our service to relevant stakeholders to provide projections of sales, ROI and overarching sales strategy and business plan. Management of an effective, thorough, holistic approach to feedback, creating a successful loop which promotes and rewards innovation and excellence, whilst addressing and closing gaps in the service we provide. Nurturing and encouraging a culture of customer service excellence within the team, acting as a role model to others in terms of time and deadline management, agile team working and innovation.
