Working from concept to completion within an award winning team of Interior Designers and workplace specialists.

Working as the lead interior designer and strategic space planner for Capital projects my key responsibilities include interpreting the design brief from Account Managers into workable design solutions, including 2D space plans, 3D visuals and presentation documents. Also required to produce detailed drawings for our installation team, source imagery from outside companies and produce sample / mood boards. Regular meetings with clients to discuss their needs, listening to their requirements and recommending suitable furniture options. Projects including feasibility exercises, furniture analysis, concept, planning, management and presentation for Astra Zeneca, Cooperative Group, Universities of Sheffield, Newcastle, Bradford, Teesside and Leeds.

I have always wanted to work in a foreign country, my love for Snowboarding led me to take 4 months out of design to do a ski season in France as a resort Representative. During the season I have qualified as a Ski Guide for my resort, improved my organisation skills, problem solving and sales ability all whilst improving my French.

Working within the workplace strategy team my key responsibilities included attending project meetings to take notes and then work up concept ideas, sketches and working drawings. Working as part of a design team to find effective design solutions. Presenting to the client in a variety of methods include 3D animations of the design concept. Work on the specification for furniture, finishes and fixtures then issue drawings for tender and construction. Attend weekly site meetings for my projects to check on construction progress and address any issues on site. Being always available to answers questions via phone or E-mail from the client, contractors or suppliers.Projects including feasibility exercises, space budget analysis, concept, planning, fit-out, management and presentation for The Bank of New York, Royal & SunAlliance, Clinton Devon and South Shropshire Housing

In my 8 weeks with Haley Sharpe following my Graduation I worked as a CAD Technician assisting with construction drawings for museum projects in The United Arab Emirates and the U.K.

During my 5 years working for Next I went from being Saturday sales Consultant to a part time floor manager. I worked at three different stores and managed all departments during my time there. The key skills of Teamwork, Organisation and presentation that I developed during my time at Next were the grounding for everything I have done since.
