My current role includes the responsibility of being the Bid Engineering Lead which entails leading all technical aspects of multiple bids (approx £40M).As the Project Engineering Lead for multiple multi million pound engineering Programs. This involves the coordination and management of cross discipline teams and providing engineering briefs to the Senior Management Team. Further tasks include project estimation, and responding to RFQ's. Also acted as Engineering Manager for all private venture projects.

Managed a multidisciplinary internal design, with leadership of up to 15 on-site and off-site project reporting staff, including task setting, timeline planning and reviewing output and deliverables from CDR to TRR. Delivered part of a strategy and technical leadership that ensures requirement compliance is met on the new AJAX defense platform (Electrical and EMC). This involves the route to compliance against defense standards and negotiations with the customer around compliance mitigation.

Worked on a variety of projects across the Williams portfolio, including Aston Martin Rapide e amongst others and finally as the lead electrical engineer on CIDS for the new military fighting vehicle AJAX.

I founded Big Bite Electronics as an output for my love of Engineering, Music and Electronics. Since startup we have developed two products that are now selling at retailers and several others that are in development. Developed relationships with important worldwide organisations, with a view to stocking our products in the near future. I have developed relationships with many world famous artists and management agencies, to the stage where our products are often played to 10,000+ people a night. I worked on the 2016 model year Ford Transit program for V36x Panther, I worked as the Lead EDS Engineer responsible for the technical delivery of the content of all vehicle harness. My role includes design through to implementation and includes the complexity associated with such a diverse vehicle.I've been involved from concept creation through to cost reductions of final solutions. My work has involved international travel and meetings, and working with a wide range of Managers, Supervisors and Engineers throughout a cross departmental project. I was responsible for many harnesses and areas of the project but specific tasks include; tracking the Component Data Sheets for over 350 parts, providing engineering estimates for new content, tracking required changes across over 500 wiring harnesses, design and development of the fusing strategy including the requirements for a new PDB, tracking of releases and drawing checks at an engineering level, providing support in financial reviews with the customer, training of team members and distributing work where applicable.

Managed functions on the V36x Transit program, including exterior lighting, manual AC, brake warning indication, clock, and power fold mirrors. I was responsible for spec updates and changes to requirements.Performed functional testing on prototype modules, this involved; the simulation of further modules and signals. This also involved the programing and monitoring of signals on a CAN and LIN bus network. This was performed on vehicle and system level, across multiple platforms. Performed module programming and support for the module from a functional and system level, this also involved the writing of specifications and agreeing these between suppliers and clients, also involved in the design change request procedures. Facilitated meetings between several members of teams in different locations globally between customers, suppliers and programmers this involved a high level of organization and communication to track issues and support development. Managed the SDS process whereby the verification of the Ford specific general and legal requirements are met. This was a safety and legal critical process, involving meticulous planning, to schedule the work with available resource. Supported the build of the vehicles by working on site during the launch of the V36x Transit. This involved working on a fast paced team abroad in plant, delivering a critical hardware update before the ok to buy date

Performed system level testing on prototype vehicles, including the simulation of components and systems and the programing and monitoring of signals on a CAN bus network. Performed fit for use testing on prototype vehicles; this involved the programming of modules to current spec software and the diagnostics of faults in the new software drop. Provided detailed documentation of the test results and provided recommendations to correct the documentation where previous authors had made errors.

Mechanical research, design and development engineer, production engineer.My first role was developing new products as part of a team for their expanding range of timing systems; I worked closely with four other engineers. Worked on an electro pneumatic system that works as a timer for hazardous area. This unit is now in production.My 2nd placement at the company focused on two tasks. The production of drill controllers and working to increase the production efficiency. Working on the drill controllers was a chance to work and manage a project end-to-endWorking on the production efficiency was a chance to take the business side of my degree and put it into practice. Looking at simplifying metalworking procedures, and simplifying their Kanban system.
