About James Fair
I have been a filmmaker for over 20 years. I have written, produced & directed projects of various lengths, genres and styles. I am particularly interested in alternative methods of film production and have shot, edited and screened feature length movies in 72 consecutive hours on three occasions; Watching & Waiting at the Galway Film Fleadh (2008), and The Ballad of Des & Mo at the Melbourne International Film Festival (2010) and The Confusion of Tongues outside of a festival in Birmingham (2014).I would like to continue my research in this production area whilst simultaneously building my research portfolio.Specialties: Writing, producing, directing films. Academic course development.
