Responsible for the operations of eight (8) TS16949 / ISO14001 registered / compliant plants consisting of 550+ employees & $50M + /year in sales. Team consisted of eight (8) direct report Plant Managers & corporate support staff. Technologies included electrocoat, powder coat, wet paint, plating, packaging, masking & light assembly. Serviced the big truck, automotive, agriculture, heavy equipment, commercial and appliance industries directly and/or indirectly to GM, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, John Deere, Caterpillar, Navistar International, Kenworth, Maytag & Whirlpool. • Oversaw 4 plant operations in Ohio from 2000-2004. Within a 4 year period, in recognition of several plant improvements of financials, safety & metrics, received 8 plants in Illinois, Iowa and Texas.• Successfully consolidated two (2) plant sites to lower overall costs resulting in increased EBITDA. • Successfully started up three (3) plant sites in Illinois, Iowa & Texas. • Implemented 5S principles, Lean Manufacturing concepts & various problem solving techniques.• Started up a green field operation to support the Toyota Tundra operation in San Antonio, Texas 2 months ahead of schedule and at profitability within 90 days. • Succesfully negotiated contract renewals for 2 MetoKote facilities with a major agricultural supplier.• Started up a turn key operation for a major Tier 1 automotive supplier in Chicago on schedule & budget. • Shut down a plant operation in Ohio & consolidated with another facility within 3 months. • By establishing sound customer relationships & utilizing analytical data, generated additional sales programs & value added services totaling $3,700,000 & price increase of $5,700,000.• Negotiated contract closure settlements totaling $11,000,000.• Reduced costs in material usage, direct labor, logistics & volume increases which provided savings programs to customers totaling $7,600,000

Oversaw all aspects of plant operations ($10M in sales) that included office administration, production, quality, lab / waste water, maintenance, budgets, customer relations, business development and team building.
