All too often automation is seen as the holy grail in search provision and the key fact that human expertise is needed to sense check the data is overlooked.At X-Press Legal, we use the latest technology to help us, but we rely on experienced people to sense check the data.As an advocate for Law Plain and Simple, I strive to promote the role of high street law firms within the local community and to persuade the public that “buy local” doesn’t just mean where you buy your fresh vegetables. It's using your local solicitor, accountant, electrician and shops.I organise the Local Conveyancers Network in Cornwall and Devon where conveyancing professionals can meet to discuss issues affecting their profession and learn from industry experts. I was heavily involved in the successful 2014 and 2016 campaigns to stop the privatisation of the Land Registry. Our petition gained over 320,000 signatures and we gained support from the public and businesses as well as many cross-party MP's.
