I can be best described in a nutshell as a luxury nerd. Getting my start in the luxury resale industry during my high-school days, I have had a front row seat to observe the industry change dramatically over the years. Going through the fashion design program at Parsons The New School for Design taught me construction techniques and gave me a profound appreciation for quality. This experience thrusted my interest in luxury fashion into a full-blown obsession. My passion for luxury goods reaches deep into who I am, and I am proud to be a part of this exciting field, from authentication to technology and beyond.I founded OpenLuxury with the goal of making luxury resale safe, accessible, and convenient for all. With over a decade of experience in luxury resale, I recognized the industry's growing pains, particularly the inconvenient and opaque nature of authentication. I understood that making authentication central to the resale process was crucial for building trust and minimizing fraud. This vision led me to create OpenLuxury, a platform that ensures a safer resale environment, enhances credibility for businesses, and offers flexibility and ease for both shoppers and sellers.When I am not authenticating or researching, I am either tending to my extensive botanical collection, perusing museums and galleries, or swinging a paddle at local estate auctions.
