Jim Flowers is the President of Bubba Rope, LLC. The leading brand and USA manufacturer of off-road vehicles, and equipment recovery products for consumers, industrial applications, and US military. He was the driving force in developing and leading this new successful start-up company wining two SEMA Best Product Awards and 14 international media awards for both branding and product innovation. His vision of utilizing safer and lighter products modernized the off-road vehicle recovery category worldwide. Beginning his career on the West Coast in the travel and tourism industry, Jim rose within the ranks of the Hertz Corporation and Avis Rent-a-Car ending up on the East Coast in executive sales leadership roles. At Avis, Jim developed the Avis Independent Marketing (AIM) Network. The network was comprised of a unique sales organization with over 100 team members spanning the US and Canada. The AIM Network represented Avis, and other major travel industry brands including airlines, hotels, theme parks and cruise lines. Jim continued to broaden his industry knowledge by leading a customer acquisition team for Travelways a US nationwide bus consolidator. Jim’s unique ability to recognize the industry’s growing needs for group travel and seek innovative solutions led to the launching of multiple successful E- commerce businesses in the group ground transportation segment. Jim also held leadership positions with Busch Entertainment, iTripTV and VillaDirect an on-line vacation home company focused on the Orlando vacation market. Jim’s most unique proven ability is to identify and lead entrepreneurial opportunities within established company structures. On three different occasions Jim has successfully imagined and started something new from inside something old. Jim counts his own most successful achievements as watching those that he has challenged to ask the question “why do we do it this way?” and then go on to seek better solutions. Jim has a BS in Journalism and Advertising from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California.
