With 24 years industry experience, I help Nuvola's clients run their businesses more effectively with happier, more motivated staff. We do this by implementing apps and back end systems that automate the mundane and the manual, increase accuracy and provide better management information.I've worked on projects from the tiny to the huge, and can design and implement an IT strategy, manage a project or get right down to detail and code a solution. Where I add real value is in being able to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions.Our apps can be outward facing, helping our clients build their brand and their engagement with clients and prospects, or inward facing, giving tools to field staff to replace paper forms and emails. This means data can be captured quickly and pushed into back end systems (whether existing or supplied by us), to automate business processes and provide management dashboards.As a consultant, I look at clients' business processes in detail and help them understand where improvements can be driven by better systems. Then I can either design and implement the solution, or help them choose and manage a third party agency.I get my hands dirty with code - I've built the PHP framework that most of our business systems run on, have developed our own Javascript platform for creating apps fast, and also have plenty of experience building websites in Drupal and Wordpress.
