Perennial Award Winner in Video and Still Photography, Storytelling & Lighting.I have worked on a variety of client ads, website introduction videos, community services campaigns, TV station promotions. I collaborate, plan, execute, and deliver. Videos often begin with creating ideas from scratch, then storyboarding, scheduling appropriate subjects, location scouting, production planning of multi-camera video/sound capture, and multi-point lighting. Finally the shoot, writing, editing, and delivery. In 2020, I took my 13th N.E. Emmy for Photographer, Short Form, and I also garnered a Mass Broadcaster's Association Soundbite Award.Prior to 2016 I worked in the Specials/Investigative Department at Fox25 where I was one of two long-format photogs for 12 years. During this time I helped expose many injustices and interesting stories in the region. This is where I learned high-end interview lighting techniques. Prior to that, I was a General Assignment News Photographer for 8 years. In my news photography positions, I was fortunate to have covered stories from the front lines here in MA New England, and our country (plus a few others). In doing so, I have helped to distribute some of the major news stories at the end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century, respectively. All of these experiences combined have been incredibly eye-opening and satisfying. I've seen many things I wish I could forget, but many more that I hope I never will. I have also been a freelance photog (film/still/digital - in one form or another) since I first picked up a camera back in college. Always with an artistic eye and hand, in high school, I was awarded as Worcester County's Student Artist of the Year for my portfolio in varied mediums.Finally, I taught 5 semesters of using the modern tools of broadcast journalism and documentary capture at Northeastern University.I am FAA drone certified and available for drone work, as my schedule permits. c: 781-856-0762.
