I lead business development for Biosensing at TTP, a world-class technology development consultancy helping companies get their breakthrough medical devices into the hands of the patients that need them.I started my career in biosensing nearly 15 years ago as part of my PhD, developing optical sensors to detect traces of blood at crime scenes. After a stint as a postdoc, building biosensors to detect both nerve agents and COVID-19, I realised that what I truly valued was seeing tech get out of the lab and into the real world.At TTP, I build partnerships with some of the world's most ambitious R&D companies to help them get their ground-breaking ideas to market faster. Our Biosensing team is made up of brilliant engineers and scientists working on life-changing monitoring technologies that enable users to better manage their health. We work across both wearable and long term implantable devices, including in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for diabetes, and smart orthopaedics.My role involves identifying new partnering opportunities, building relationships with prospective and current clients, and exploring growth areas, industry trends, and emerging markets.
