Senior Lead Software Engineer
CurrentAs a member of the ACME Data Management Services team (DMS) I work to build new and enhance existing data/information/and code application and data vault components. I am responsible for the creation, peer review, and implementation of SQL code, structure, and documentation of data artifacts for the Endpoint Data Vault (EDV) as well as the tool & reporting development teams supported by the EDV application umbrella. As technical SME for the technology, application, architecture, and data structures built by the team and will provide the highest level of technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases. I lead the most critical data/database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including co-responsibility and ownership of database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling. My daily responsibilities include solving the most complex problems where analysis of situations and associated data require evaluation of intangible variance factors and disparate sourcing. As an expert technical resource to development staff, mentoring junior staff in the database development, testing, and implementation processes. Serving as the technical SME, partnering with AGILE Scrum Masters, team members, and Product owners to produce and review business and technical requirements and participate in all AGILE ceremonies with the team. Partnering with team members to create and maintain required technical documentation, perform peer reviews, write testing scripts, and meet all the mandates of the SDLC, ALM, and QA guidelines within the Wells Fargo Enterprise Agile practice. I provide strategic solutions and influence long-term internal and enterprise-level data/database architecture and management strategies. Position frequently interacts with outside customers and functional peer groups at management levels.
