James Grugeon is an environmental and social entrepreneur who has held leadership roles in social enterprises, not for profits, start-ups, corporates, and government.In his 20+ year career, he’s pioneered corporate social responsibility at a major banking group, built partnerships to lift one million UK homes out of energy poverty, helped grow a social enterprise that floated on the London Stock Exchange, negotiated ground-breaking, multi-million dollar partnerships to cut carbon emissions, created a national Healthy Air Campaign as the CEO of a national environmental charity, formed an alliance between a new green energy company and leading environmental organisations to generate over $3 million in funding and launch that company as Australia's greenest power company according to Greenpeace ANZ and launched Australia’s first social enterprise beer company - The Good Beer Co - creating beers to champion and fund environmental and social causes in Australia and the UK and promote sustainability innovation in the beer industry. James was recently named on LinkedIn’s inaugural list of 'Top Green Voices in Australia and New Zealand', a curation of 15 must-follow thought leaders sharing their perspectives and passion for sustainability, climate change and protecting the environment. He's a Cambridge University Climate Change Leadership graduate, has been trained by former Vice President Al Gore as a Climate Reality Leadership Corps Climate Leader and has been an advisor on public affairs, business development, communications, sustainability and purpose to start-up and scale-up businesses including First Nations-owned Sobah Non Alcoholic Beverages, sustainable modular living leaders ModnPods and UK fuel poverty solution pioneers Warmworks.
