Graduate from the University of North Texas with a BS in Emergency Administration and Planning and a BA in Applied Science with concentrations in criminal justice, management, and alternate dispute resolution, as well as, an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice. I am a Military Veteran with a Secret Security Clearance and 30+ years of proven experience in the United States Army and Army Reserves. I have accomplished measurable results while leading teams of 25+ in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. I possess a comprehensive background in Emergency Management, Operations Management, and Training and Development derived from conducting domestic and global operations in Afghanistan. I have managed risk to protect assets, property, and equipment valued over $250M while meeting the expectations of senior leadership. I possess extensive knowledge in Risk Management, Emergency Planning and Preparations, and Strategic Planning. I am the recipient of multiple awards for outstanding performance and professionalism. I enjoy volunteering with Scouts America as a Unit Commissioner, as well as, camping, canoeing and other outdoor activities. I am a merit badge counselor for the Emergency Preparedness merit badge, and was a volunteer responder for the Sachse, TX Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).As an Eagle Scout and veteran, I have served my community and country for over half my life.
