I have a Bachelor of Science, in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governor’s University. I obtained my Associate of Applied Science, Secure Systems Administration & Engineering degree from the Metropolitan Community College where I also achieved my GED. I have a strong passion for all things in Cybersecurity. I participate in the National Cyber League where we get to learn emerging technologies and compete in a capture-the-flag style competition. The NCL aligns its content with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity framework, published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Categories of: Open Source Intelligence, Cryptography, Log Analysis, Network Traffic Analysis, Scanning, Forensics, Password Cracking, Enumeration and Exploitation, and Web Application Security.I have in-depth knowledge of Apple, Linux, and Windows environments and have become more proficient utilizing the terminal. I Have improved my scripting skills and continue to learn new techniques to become more efficient. I strive for proficiency, with a "work smarter, not harder" mentality, welcoming new challenges as opportunities for growth. I have is a desire to figure out how things work. My creativity and passion for learning will help me evolve with technology and develop a strong mindset as a security professional, bettering my abilities to defend and prevent security events.
