Hi, I’m James, thanks for stopping by. Im an exited founder working on my next business, trying to overcome the nerves and prove it wasn’t a fluke while also staying present for my boys. To give you a taster of things we plan to give 20% of the business to the planet and are trying to grow in unusual ways like investing in renewable energy for our community instead of investing in online advertising. Let’s see if that works. My first company was a design and innovation studio. We worked with the world’s best known brands building new ventures, driving digital transformations and having a lot of fun while doing it. The business was started on a rickety desk and when I left we were 150+ doing 10s mns revenue and were one of the top design brands in the world. My new business, BRiMM, is pioneering Purposeful Commerce (20% of revenue will be invested in lowering our communities footprints) and defining Planet Positive Living - a sustainable lifestyle made inspiring, joyful and accessible. We’re early but will be launching soon so watch this space. Ive been fortunate to invest in 25+ startups direct and a further 30+ through 3 VC funds I’m involved with. Despite being lucky with some early exits it’s way too early to tell if I’m any good at it.
