They say variety is the spice of life. I work in communications, both as an agency practitioner and as a client. I also work in two sectors - the law and advertising and marketing. This either makes me lacking in focus, or might be the secret to unlocking enduring creativity via slow-motion multitasking as outlined by Tim Harford in his TED talk. I'll go with the latter.I've developed the Magic Sauce relationship programme to help clients and agencies and law firms and their clients work more efficiently, effectively and enjoyably together.I work with MD Communications to help global law firms drive growth through marketing communications.I work with Unilever and partner with start-ups to do the same.I'm passionate about the power of communications to make a difference having begun my journey in this space at Unilever. I founded the Positive Parenting Alliance in 2021 to help change the way that the UK deals with the subject of separation in an effort to make a difference to the lives of the 280,000 children affected each year in the UK.

Amongst many temping highlights in the Autumn/Winter of 1999 my career in the legal sector began as a stationary monitor at Clifford Chance. I kid you not, it was the best paying temp job going. I wheeled my stationery trolley around the hallowed corridors of the 'Magic Circle' firm and made sure that no meeting room wanted for appropriate stationary. Not the most stimulating role (I'm told my predecessor was found asleep in a cupboard) but the people were lovely and an impressive number of Bridget Rileys were on display.
