Hi I’m the Social Action Officer at Society Matters CIC, and I’m on a mission to make workplaces better and more supportive. My passion lies in tackling social welfare issues and fighting child poverty by teaming up with employers to boost their employees’ financial wellbeing.In my role, I get to lead exciting projects under the North East Combined Authority’s Pillar 3 program . This involves everything from engaging with employers and speaking at events to running workshops that highlight the realities of in-work poverty and social welfare. I’m all about making sure our projects run smoothly and hit their targets.I thrive on building strong connections with senior leaders and brainstorming creative solutions to tough challenges. At Society Matters CIC, we believe in fairness, embracing change, and taking ownership of our actions. I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities to expand our impact and help employers create healthier, happier workplaces.
