Soft-Goods: I have worked in the past as a Sample Sewer, Pattern Maker, Developer and Product Designer for Eagle Creek Travel Gear. My experience included costing products 'in house" and scrutinizing Bill of Materials from Asian factories. I have also worked in Asian sample rooms directing from 1st round proto's through to production ready samples. As a Freelance Prototype Maker, I've helped design firms, inventors, other freelancers and students from the Art Center to produce 3-D samples from their 2-D rendering. This work included consultation on product design, function improvements and cost projections. My services either include producing 3-D soft-goods samples at my Southern California studio, or creating Tech Packs (.pdf) used to communicate with overseas factories for sample-making.On the apparel side, I teach a tailoring class at a local community college and also make special occasion wear for private clients. I have worked as a Technical Designer for an action sports company, revising their spec's for better fitting apparel and establishing active grading sheets in Excel. I'm also currently on contract rendering technical and fashion illustrations for a line of apparel patterns that are sold in fabric stores nationwide, licensed by Butterick/McCall's.Digital Video:I studied Video Editing while attending fashion school in NYC. Since then I've purchased a Canon XL2 and I have shot and edited several wedding videos, produced a sponsorship promo video for a professional Nitro Drag Race team, worked on some creative shorts, produced and editing a 2-DVD series "how to" sewing. I'm looking to mix with other indie film makers in Southern California to continue with creative shorts, documentaries.*Some aspects of video production include Produce, Screen Write, Story Board Illustrations, Direct, Casting, Wardrobe, Camera Operator, Non-linear Editor FCP and Original Musical Score.
