I am the Director of Accountancy Edge Ltd, a firm of ICAEW Chartered Accountants based in Bideford, North Devon. I have more than a decade's experience working in accountancy practice. I trained and qualified as a n ICAEW Chartered Accountant while working for KPMG, one of the four largest accounting practices in the world. Since then, I've worked in local accounting practices dealing with a variety of owner managed businesses and charities. More than ten years experience working with businesses varying in size from one man bands to plcs, means that I bring big business sensibilities to owner managed business. I am also an Independent Certified Practising Accountant, which means I have access to even more tools and resources to support owner managed businesses.I enjoy working with business owners to help them make more profits, pay less tax and increase the value of their businesses. In 2010, this led me to form my own accounting practice, Accountancy Edge, to actually do what other accountants just promise their clients. I also believe in giving back to the local community, both through work I do for local charities and through my professional association with Accountants Changing the World and Buy 1 Give 1.
