CurrentAs Vice President of Quarry Services, I have responsibility for the areas of Safety, Construction, Quality Control, Quarry Services (Stationary Equipment & Warehousing), Geology and Environmental. In this role I lead a team that is dedicated to ensuring proactive support for our highly effective quarry operations by partnering with each location to assist them in establishing a best-in-class safety program, achieving productivity goals, maintaining industry leading quality control measures, and going beyond compliance in our environmental efforts. About Wake Stone:Wake Stone Corporation was founded in 1970 by John Bratton Jr. Having spent his entire professional career in the mining industry there was a desire to have one quarry of his own. Along with his eldest son, Johnny, they built the foundation of a family business that has lasted for fifty-four years. With five locations in North and South Carolina, and seven members of the family employed, John would be proud of the family business he started.
