An experienced executive with a 30-year history of working in the aggregates industry, I have held positions of Plant Foreman, Pit Foreman, Plant Manager, Regional Operations Manager, General Manager, Vice President of Operational Support, Vice President of Human Resources, and Regional Vice President. I am currently Vice President of Quarry Services for Wake Stone Corporation in Raleigh, N.C. I am skilled in Operations Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Negotiations, and Leadership Development. I utilize these skills to build strong teams and deliver value to organizations, customers and the communities we serve. I enjoy team building and believe in giving back through industry involvement. I was active with the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA), where I served on the Government Affairs Committee as well as the MSHA/NSSGA Alliance Technical Task Force. I am a former member of the Board of Directors for the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA). Outside of work I serve the community as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Virginia/West Virginia Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.I am a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and hold a B.A. in History and Political Science. I received my MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership.
