CurrentLeads Heroes Linked (formerly the MVAT Foundation) and ensures high-quality services through a staff-led/volunteer-run framework. Responsible for external and internal functions, including, but not limited to, program generation and execution, fundraising, public relations, and representing Heroes Linked in the community. Co-creator and executive officer for the Heroes Network program. Proactively advocates the mission and vision and actively guides the organization to the next level of growth. • Provides leadership to and collaborates with the Board of Directors and the Board of Advisors and committee chairs towards to achieve the MVAT Foundation's mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. • Leads the visioning and strategic planning process to ensure that the MVAT Foundation continually evolves to meet the changing and critical needs of its constituencies. • Actively engages the Board of Directors and Board of Advisors in creative problem solving and fulfillment of the organization's mission. • Effectively interacts with the Board of Directors and the Board of Advisors, community leaders, funders, committee chairs, and other key stakeholders to build support, create synergy, and advocate the mission and growth of the organization. • Leads MVAT's partnership and fundraising efforts in order to increase funding and support from foundations, corporations, major donors, and individuals. • Serves as chief advocate and spokesperson for the MVAT Foundation's mission, programs, and services including serving as the chief executive of the Heroes Linked program. • Provides disciplined fiscal supervision to ensure prudent management of resources within budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations and within the MVAT Foundation's commitment to low-overhead expense.
