• Interprets and reviews for accuracy specifications, blueprints, and job orders, assigns duties, estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
• Oversees work of contractors to ensure compliance with contract, state codes, coordinates work between contractors and employees, and helps engineers and/or architects to identify potential problems.
• Designs and implements controls and control strategies to meet lighting and electrical requirements for State Capitol

• Supervises Technical maintenance staff. Coordinates work orders with requestors and preventive maintenance programs utilizing a CMMS, reviews technician’s weekly reports, and make scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
• Maintain outside maintenance contracts and oversee outside contractors
• Reviews and completes material and supply orders
• Inspects the client’s facilities and makes recommendations for improved preventive maintenance procedures and system upgrades. Works closely with client to make inspections as requested.
• Coordinates training and educational program to assure a prepared professional staff. Prepares evaluations of the O&M technical staff.
• Facilitate meetings, write reports, prepare presentations and act as Project Manager in the Project Manager’s absence.
