I am a part of a team that performs organizational assessments that analyze the operations of local governments and utilities to pinpoint areas for improvement and increased efficiency, particularly through analyses of staffing, workload, processes, policies, procedures, and technology. My projects cover a broad spectrum of government functions, including public safety, public works, utilities, economic development, and parks and recreation. I effectively communicate my findings and recommendations to governing bodies and organizational leaders through detailed reports and presentations, ensuring these insights align with the organization's strategic goals, service delivery standards, and community expectations. This role requires me to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines while ensuring that the recommendations provided are practical, achievable, and aligned with the expected outcomes.

As the inaugural Economic Development Director for Deerfield Township, I created and managed the Deerfield Township Community Improvement Corporation, a 501(c4) organization, to provide the Township with additional tools for economic development. I also developed strategic partnerships with key community stakeholders such as the local chambers of commerce, state and federal agencies, and regional economic development groups. I was the primary contact for entrepreneurs aiming to launch new ventures and businesses planning to relocate operations. I facilitated commercial development projects of varying scales and initiated a business retention and expansion program to support the local economy. Furthermore, I was responsible for designing and maintaining data management and reporting systems, including interactive dashboards, to support economic development efforts and promote transparency of public information.

I led the team tasked with researching and writing annual reports and strategic policy documents focused on critical areas such as smart cities, small business development, real estate finance structures, and foreign direct investment. In collaboration with the Office of Performance and Data Analytics, I was crucial in developing and maintaining interactive dashboards using Tableau, enhancing the Department's ability to visualize and analyze data effectively. I also managed the Department's quality control and data collection processes within Salesforce, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of economic development-related information.
