Creating value by building and strengthening operations has been the focus of my career as a global management executive.Whether leading strategic initiatives to drive business transformation, expanding organizational footprint or negotiating complex arrangements; I leverage a robust business background, a passion for customer engagement and strong commercial leadership to achieve business outcomes. My management experience is broad and in-depth; I’ve navigated through a variety of business issues – built new plants, integrated or consolidated businesses and created safe and efficient manufacturing sites; while driving operational excellence and growing sales. With the mindset of an entrepreneur, I’ve had much success building and leading joint ventures multiple times, creating significant value for shareholders. Over the years, I’ve developed a good understanding of cultural differences as I’ve led teams in the US, Asia and Europe. As a people manager, cross-functional leader and colleague, I strive for mutual understanding, trust, and teamwork; I’m open, honest, and respectful. Much of my career success has been a result of driving a “One Team” concept and bringing teams together under a common vision and mission.Innovative and proactive with an effective blend of business, operational/manufacturing excellence and technical acumen; I take a logical approach to problem solving, identifying root cause quickly and developing the right strategy to deliver sustainable financial results. Outside of work, I teach the Business Planning course to small business owners and corporate executives for the Executive MBA Program, a collaboration between Houston Community College and the Asian Chamber of Commerce.
