• Dovetailed position with role of Site Safety Leader, ensuring that all health and safety protocols were upheld and created job-specific RAMS, chaired monthly safety committee meetings, delivered toolbox talks.

• Project manager for the West of England region for Mitie. Liaised with a broad range of different specialised contractors to organise project-specific refurbishment surveys and engaged approved licensed removal.
• Held responsibility for the asbestos register for Bromsgrove School, which included coordinating their annual re-inspection program for all their sites, reporting ACMs that required urgent attention and cleansing ACMs.
• Conducted asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys to domestic, commercial and industrial premises.
• Undertook annual re-inspections, highlighting previously identified ACMs that were in an unsatisfactory state and recommending the corrective actions required.
• Compiled detailed asbestos survey reports by performing stringent technical reviews of the site data, recommending the correct actions for all identified ACMs and generated accompanying site plans by utilising Auto CAD.
• Performed airborne fibre tests during asbestos abatement works whilst ensuring that the contractors correctly adhered to their agreed upon plan of works.

• Set up an asbestos bulk analysis lab in the company’s SW office, successfully achieving UKAS accreditation at the first time of asking;
