James is a multi-award winning video, television and advert director. Having previously worked for a decade in television and directed prime-time entertainment and documentary shows for the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Discovery International, in early 2013 James co-founded Picture Book Films to concentrate on producing films for businesses and organisations, TV adverts and branded content, in particular in the construction, high tech and energy sectors. In just a few years Picture Book Films has won half a dozen international awards and has clients including Universal Music, Sony, Discovery International, Channel 4, CBBC, Tesla Motors and U+I.Picture Book is an ethical production company and also works closely with local clients and charities, in Brighton and London, to create videos for their brands and products.
