I was hired to facilitate the transfer of engineering data from an obsolete system to a modern system.• I re-engineered GE’s front-end data cleanup applications (MS Access and MS Excel) to improve performance by about 60%.• I trained the data team in the use of the new tool.• I work with the data team to continually improve processes to the point where the project is at least 2 months ahead of target.

I was hired to create and maintain reports and tools backed by JD Edwards, SAP Business Objects, and SQL data.• I leveraged the true power of SQL Server to increase the efficiency of several Crystal Reports to run in seconds instead of minutes.• I eliminated over 200 Crystal Reports and replaced them with just 2 using parameters and better report logic.• I created an MS Access data entry application which reduced data entry time from 1 day per batch to 30 minutes per batch.

I was hired to build and maintain company EHR applications and data.• I validated and corrected the data for many patients in the EHR system allowing for proper medical care and diagnosis, as well as allowing for correct medicines to be prescribed.• I entered, validated, and corrected many test scenario’s into the EHR software following US government test scripts during the company’s effort to achieve MU2 certification. This allowed for the proper design of the software and several fixes to unknown issues that I found which helped the company achieve MU2 certification in 2014.

I was hired to maintain and develop several Access 97 databases.• I led the development project which rolled several Access 97 databases into a single VB.Net/SQL Server application that was able to communicated directly with the company’s ERP system (Epicor Vantage). This greatly improved the integrity, security, and speed of the company’s data saving substantial man-hours of entry time and accuracy.• I created several automated processes for transferring data between the custom system and the ERP system allowing for seamless data transfers and proper synchronization of part data and costs. I was hired to analyze vehicle dimensional data using Microsoft Office products and proprietary QMC software to ensure quality.• I engineered cooperation between the IT and the Quality departments to improve the processes which the plant used to track and contain possible defective vehicles. This greatly improved the efficiency of the response times for vehicle yard holds and recalls.• With this success I persuaded to use barcode scanners on vehicles rather than pencil and paper which further increased the efficiency and accuracy of the process.• I then wrote the code to download the data from the scanners and compare them with the electronic files from the IT department to even further increase the efficiency and accuracy of the entire process.
