As Marketing Director at Minto Apartments, a division of Minto Group in Ottawa, I'm responsible for the marketing, digital advertising and internal and external communications for 12,000+ rental units across Canada. From 2017-2022, I held the position of Marketing and Communications Manager at Ferguslea Properties, the owner and operator of Accora Village. Accora Village is the largest privately owned rental community in Canada. From 2010-2017, I provided strategic communications support to a wide variety of local and national clients at Hill+Knowlton Strategies Ottawa. My primary focus was developing and implementing marketing communications strategies for major retailers and crown corporations in Canada. In 2010, I graduated from the Public Relations program at Algonquin College. Before attending Algonquin College, I completed a B.A. in political science at Bishops University and played four years of football for the university's varsity football team, the Gaiters. I also spent a year honing my French skills at the Institut International D'etudes Francaises, Université Marc Bloch in Strasbourg, France. I have been active within the Ottawa community as corporate sponsorship committee co-chair for the Touch a Little Life campaign for CHEO, a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society, Royal Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Public Library. For the past six years, I have been a member of the selection committee for the Businesswoman of the Year Awards. I have also done work for the Children's Miracle Network, Canadian Human Rights Commission and the International Organization for Victim Assistance. Currently, I'm President of the Alumni Executive at Ashbury College. I've previously served as a member of the the CPRS Board of Directors and Algonquin College Students' Association Board of Directors. In his spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, and golfing with friends.
