Undertaken an intensive industry-leading financial planning program in Sydney, and have graduated as a Representative of AMP Financial Planning. Established the company owned division for The Complete Garden.Strategically planned, established and managed company owned sites nationally. Managed a total of 8 sites with 5 in Victoria, 1 in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland.Establish new sites by coordinating tradesman, logistics, product from suppliers, recruit team members, educate company policies and procedure to new team members, plan and implement opening marketing campaign.Recruit, train and manage team members at all 8 sites, total of 22 team members nationally.Create, implement and manage marketing budgets for each site.Set budgets and review Profit & Loss statements.Continuous development of policies, procedures and manuals for stores. On-site inspections to review merchandising, marketing and compliance checks. Provide sales and customer service advice. Conduct point of Sale and back office training and support for team members.Identify new sales opportunities, review efficiency in operations.Attend international trade shows in China to meet suppliers and undertake business negotiations.Co-ordinate the operation of special events such as the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and Furnitex.Facilitated the quarterly supervisor forum, where management and supervisors meet to discuss performance, operations and sales.Developed a new online furniture brand, co-ordinating and managing the setup of the e-commerce site. Due to the success of the website we also opened an outlet in the centre of Bendigo.

A new role that was created in the organisation to support initially 24 franchisee’s that increased to 38 in 2 years nationally.Supported 38 franchisee outlets in all key areas of their business from operations, sales, marketing, inventory and merchandising 7 days a week.Developed support strategies to ensure franchisees received appropriate assistance in a timely manner.Established and developed new sites with franchisee and provided continuous support and training.Onsite visits twice a year to conduct store appraisal, verify compliance with company policies and provide feedback, ideas to generate sales, marketing plans and operation techniques.Liaise continuously with our importing company to ensure quantities for promotions, clearance product, product feedback and development.Coordinated national marketing budget and implemented marketing strategies.Successfully re-developed and managed our national website. Assisted with the relocation of a head office and warehouse from interstate.Assisted with the implementation of a customised inventory warehouse management and point of sale systems. Provided training, support and feedback to pilot store and franchisees adopting the system.
