SST is a Subsidiary of International Truck and Engine Company (Navistar).As Design Engineer at SST I was responsible for design of Custom Application Requirements or Low Production Option design requirements. Cab and Chassis Design for Severe Service Truck applications require custom equipment for certain applications and in many cases required new designs to accommodate these requirements. I was also responsible for producing paint diagrams for all the factory multi-tone schematics we produced at our plant. another responcibility was maintaining BOM system through a rules based order coding system, when orders would fail this coding process we were tasked with determining why the order failed and determining a method for correcting the issue, weather it was through addition or removal of codes that were required or designing a new package to accomodate the request.

Responsible for the design of ground engaging tools and the tooling required to manufacturing them. this was for tips/adapters, rippers, scarifiers, and mining bases for mini excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, and mining shovels. these were manufactured through flame cutting, vertical forging, castings, roll forming and welding processes. Also responsible for the maintenance of cad data, and the cad computer systems updates etc.

Shift Lead 8/96 to 1/99. Duties included scheduling, monitoring agents performance, keeping track of inventory, maintaining the computer systems, as well as answering agent questions and occasionally answer level 2 (upset/angry) callers who have requested to speak with a Supervisor.Agent in Charge (AIC) approximately six (6) months duties were the same as for the Shift Lead position. AIC was replaced by the Shift Lead PositionPhone Support Agent approx. one (1) year. Helped callers solve their computer situations in a timely efficient manner. One of my primary goals was to keep the customer happy and get the problem solved.
