Ecommerce Data Manager
Ecommerce Content Manager
In my role as eCommerce Content Manager with PUMA, one of my primary responsibilities was product management. I managed our catalogue of approximately 2000 - 3500 styles per season using PIM tools and Magento 2 CMS, ensuring all product copy, imagery, pricing, attributes, categorisation, and dates are accurate and fully enriched.I controlled all on-site visual merchandising using custom Magento 2 sorting rules, content assets such as banners and carousels, landing page creation, and on-site search management with Klevu, adjusting all these on the fly as needed to improve business performance and align with promotional calendars and seasonal product flow. I regularly reported on and analysed various aspects of my role, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement to drive sales and business objectives. This was achieved using Google Analytics alongside a variety of other tools, with a focus on actionable, data-driven findings, including reporting on the performance of all major product launches.
Ecommerce Coordinator
In my role as Ecommerce Coordinator, I was responsible for every facet of the online store, as well as the customer experience of shopping with Reid. I monitored Google Analytics to measure website and revenue performance, and identify issues and areas for continuous improvement. Using Magento and Apparel21, I created new products, as well as uploaded product content, imagery, and copy, ensuring both are optimised for SEO and customers. I managed all promotions, special prices, and markdowns in Magento, also ensuring that prices are updated and correct in Apparel21.I managed all Reid Cycles social media efforts and strategy, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and managed influencer marketing, competitions, and giveaways. I coordinated and implemented our paid social advertising strategy, which centred around Facebook and Instagram, with average return on ad spend of 1000%. I assisted the Marketing team with email marketing efforts to over 40,000 subscribers. This included the creation and distribution of campaigns, as well as overseeing existing flows to increase customer retention and loyalty, and decrease abandonment. I also assisted with overall creation and planning of marketing strategy and the marketing calendar, and ensuring all activities are followed up and executed. In my time at Reid, I overhauled the customer service processes and experience, in order to fully utilise the aspects of Zendesk Support, Guide, and Chat. This included writing an entire Knowledge Base for customers to use, in addition to setting up the Web Widget to increase self-service and ticket deflection. I also introduced Level 1 & Level 2 Support divisions, as well as implemented ticket triage procedures to increase efficiency.I managed our external developers and agencies, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard by our consultants.
Digital Marketing Assistant
In my role as Digital Marketing Assistant, I worked with the Marketing team to create and edit all website content for the products we sold. I wrote unique & succinct copy for a variety of our products, incorporating best practices for SEO, and ensuring that the copy relays technical information to customers in an engaging, easy to understand format.I managed imagery for products, which involves significant editing and correcting of content in Adobe Photoshop to ensure images are as ‘Google friendly’ as possible. Everything I did in this area is in the interest of customers having the best shopping experience possible, and in turn, having Scorptec rank as highly as possible on SERPs.My role also included assisting with the design, copy writing, and creation of biweekly newsletters to our consumer and corporate customer base of over 50,000 subscribers. This included deal creation/selection in partner with the Purchasing Department, alongside developing and executing database expansion strategies such as contests and promotions. To further ensure that Scorptec customers are always satisfied with their experience, I investigated and responded to any negative feedback received through various channels, and liaised with customers directly, as well as multiple departments, to reach a satisfactory solution for all parties. I also engaged with customers across social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and more non-traditional websites such as Overclockers Australia, Whirlpool Forums, and Reddit. Through these channels, I also promoted giveaways, new products, and upcoming events and sales.I have attended multiple events in a professional capacity over the past three years, and I worked closely with multiple vendors on stands and exhibitions in the lead-up to these events. When attending industry events, I worked to increase customer interactions and further the Scorptec brand.
Assistant Branch Manager
On a daily basis, I worked within the Sales team and provided support to walk in customers, over the phone, via email, and through the Zendesk Helpdesk system. I was required to follow up outstanding payments, create quotes for custom orders, notify customers of ETAs and utilised our extensive backend to track orders. In this role, I was responsible for communicating with the Tech department for all refunds, returns, and warranty claims made by customers. I was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, and my additional responsibilities included training new staff in the Sales department, daily reconciliation of accounts, and the creation and distribution of rosters in line with varying staff availability over a 6-day working week. My role required me to liaise with other internal departments, specifically the Warehouse department to ensure that delivery timeframes and order ETAs promised to customers across Australia were met. When required, I worked with the warehouse team to pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders.I worked closely with the Tech department to assemble multiple PC systems to both manufacturer and customer specifications, and provided ongoing support to customers in the form of troubleshooting various issues and repairing items when required. As Assistant Branch Manager, I was responsible for handling all customer returns to my store, and processing them for warranty claims. This involved logging the return in the backend, testing the item for failures, and lodging the return with the supplier when required, before contacting the customer to inform them of the progress of their return.
Senior Sales Representative
During my time at MSY Technology, I worked within a team to assist customers with sales and product enquiries both over the phone and face to face. This required me to retain extensive product knowledge in order to provide a high level of customer service. My role involved cash handling, processing EFTPOS and credit card payments, and reconciling accounts daily. As a senior staff member, I was responsible for training new staff members in the use of our point of sale systems, as well as assisting them in improving their product knowledge from the catalogue of over 1500 products. My role involved assembling various systems to customer specifications, followed by software installation and thorough testing to ensure the system was completed to the highest standard. As a Sales Representative I was required to regularly troubleshoot and repair PCs and notebooks that were brought in by customers, which required strong attention to detail in order to find and solve any problems.
