I am a junior at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business majoring in Finance and Business Analytics. I have a passion for working with others, and being a Kelley student has allowed me to grow my communication skills and work in numerous team environments. For example, my participation in numerous case competitions over the course of my first year at IU has allowed me to work with others on real-world problems and offer solutions. I was able to effectively communicate and discuss ideas with teammates, which resulted in a great working experience for everyone on the team. My role as a JLLC Ambassador has allowed me to introduce prospective IU students to campus by giving tours to families, offering advice, and answering any questions they may have.Being a Kelley Student has also allowed me to improve my passion for analytics. In high school, as a member of the Debate team, I often researched real-world events and compiled evidence for both sides of the issue. This expanded my worldview and honed my research and analytics skills, along with my ability to present my findings in a concise and persuasive manner. My analytical skills have also been valuable in case competitions, finding the meaning behind evidence and articulating it in a way that makes sense to viewers and gets my point across.I plan on pursuing an internship in my field of study over the summer, and upon graduation, I plan on going into the investment banking or management field.
