Pointerway brings together world-class experts on LGBTQ+ life to help gay- and queer-identifying men live their lives authentically and unapologetically.As Founder and Principal Coach I work with men across the US giving objective advice in how to be the best gay men they can be; holding them accountable for their personal goals; and designing programs to support them through coming out, exploring sexuality, and surviving break-ups and toxic relationships. I also work with executives and small-business owners in identifying ways to leverage their sexuality to become more effective leaders.Our current and recent clients include drag queens, retired men, politicians, factory workers, Fortune 250 companies and their executives, international hospitality firms, small business owners, and non-profit leaders.

Started as a producer in 2008, booking guests, researching and pitching story ideas, self- shooting/editing, and directing on-location filming. Promoted in 2011 for my leadership skills to become part of the program’s management team (with some responsibilities equivalent to Executive Producer level), shaping program strategy, overseeing scripted on-air content, training and managing 40 producers, and hiring new talent. BBC Breakfast is the UK's highest rated morning show, achieving an exceptional 40% audience share on a daily basis.Key projects and internal promotions include:Social Media Editor, BBC Breakfast• Developed a keen understanding of social media metrics and analytical tools, gained experience of crafting marketing campaigns, and shared knowledge by delivering training to teams at the New York Times, Financial Times, and Reuters.Change Producer, BBC Breakfast• Planned and implemented the relocation of the program’s 100 staff from London to new facilities in Manchester, while maintaining our 24-hour operation and keeping the program on-air seven days a week.• Devised new workflows, identified budget savings, and managed the risk register.Senior Producer, General Election special program 2010• Worked directly with the show's anchor to give political briefings, rehearse camera moves, and develop a touchscreen infographic to explain statistical and voting trends to viewers.• Described by the Head of BBC Newsroom as 'instrumental' in the show’s planning and output. Trainer, BBC Academy• Created and delivered training courses for new journalists across BBC News, covering technical skills, legal and editorial knowledge, and interview techniques.In June 2016 I was granted a sabbatical, to support my partner's studies, and relocated to Chicago, IL.
