It then reports back to the team if there is a discrepancy. • Spawning Pool helped our team and the company notice and avoid multiple critical situations and catch long-term, difficult-to-fix bugs before they caused any residual damage. It continues to run today and provides otherwise elusive testing results. • Converted sets of successive Hadoop jobs that processed site visits in 60 - 90 minutes into Kafka jobs processing data in 5 - 15 seconds, drastically reducing both customer wait time and the size of our codebase. • Dumped large sets of data from both MySQL and HBase into Amazon Redshift using Hadoop in an ongoing process to migrate our APIs to faster and leaner data storage systems. • Implemented RESTful API endpoints for both my testing framework and for the Amazon Redshift-backed APIs.
