As the Enterprise Architect at the National Institute for Mental Health (part of NIH), I support the NIMH mission by providing analysis and support related to new IT technologies and architectures. This role centers around documenting and maintaining the current and future technical architecture and establishing new tools and processes for gathering and using architecture data. It is a very technical hands-on role, part architect and part engineer. A primary goal of my efforts is to save NIMH money by avoiding inefficiency and sub-optimization of resources.
