I am a Solicitor at Express Solicitors Limited.I joined Express Solicitors in December 2021 where I handle a variety of different industrial disease and employers liability claims.I originally worked in the Finance Department at Roberts Jackson Solicitors as an Accounts Assistant where I developed an interest in Law and transferred to the Legal Support Department. I was promoted to the MOJ Portal Department in February 2017 and was promoted to Deputy Head of the department in June 2017. I transferred to the role of Fee Earner in November 2017, running disease claims through from sign up stage until trial.I then joined Gavin Edmondson Solicitors in June 2018, where I acted as a paralegal and then trainee solicitor handling multi track and fast track disease claims. I qualified as a solicitor in November 2020.My greatest strength in my work lies in my technical knowledge of causation and management of my caseload.I studied History and Politics at degree level achieving 2:1 BA with honours, gained the Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and then travelled to Asia and Australia for 13 months before pursuing a career in law. I studied law part time whilst working full time, completing the GDL with a commendation at UCLAN University, and the LPC at BPP University Law School where I achieved a commendation.
