Data Analysis:- Spotfire specialist who designed several all-new projects to source, validate, and organize large volumes of geologic and production data for the Montney, Duvernay and Clearwater plays.- Commended for providing concise, informative updates to management for key industry plays, including competitor well activity and production, which helped guide the team’s exploration efforts.Geological Evaluations:- Part of a collaborative team that identified and captured of two significant Montney land blocks, one of which is now a key producing asset for Husky. This was accomplished by creating and integrating numerous subsurface data sets (stratigraphy, petrophysics, geochemistry, core analysis) into detailed, basin-wide evaluations of the Montney, Duvernay and Clearwater formations to identify play sweet spots and acquisition opportunities. Acquisitions and Divestitures:- Lead the geology efforts, as part of multi-disciplinary teams, on numerous corporate and asset acquisition appraisals of various sizes, up to $1 billion in valuation. - Prepared the data required for asset dispositions (geological data for virtual data rooms and management presentations) and presented to potential buyers during management presentations.Team Development:- Successful supervisor and mentor to summer students and junior staff. Directly led to one summer student being hired as a full-time employee.- Known for being the team’s go-to resource for several key software platforms, including preparing and presenting training sessions.

Supervised a team of geoscience professionals in the subsurface appraisal of unconventional plays in western Canada. In charge of identifying, planning, and budgeting ARC's unconventional play opportunities and executing the subsequent coring, sampling, and completion operations.- Grew the URG team through the hiring of additional geoscience professionals. - Prioritized and coordinated the project work of the team members and kept management up to date on project progress. - Developed and maintained an inventory shale plays across the basin used for timely analysis of opportunities and to provide recommendations to management.

Part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for defining and drilling new development well locations within ARC's existing oil and gas fields in central Alberta. Daily collaboration with the team of engineering, land, geology, and geophysics professionals to advance projects from play ideas to producing wells.- Successfully drilled five gas at Delburne and four oil wells at Garrington.- Responsible for conducting crown land sale evaluations and providing recommendations to management, resulting in successful new land acquisition for ARC.- Provided timely, accurate responses to partner notices and government offset notices required to maintain compliance with the regulator and partners. - Hired, trained, and mentored summer students and participated in cross-disciplinary mentorship programs.

Geologic project lead for WGRCC’s SW Saskatchewan acreage, focusing on the exploration and development of coalbed methane, unconventional and shallow conventional sandstone targets. - Coordinated a year-long analysis of the Milk River and Belly River formations, including the integration of detailed log correlations, mapping, seismic and regional studies. - This work led to the planning and execution of a 20-well drilling program, including the recovery of the most extensive core inventory of any operator in the area, all of which was completed in under 90 days, with a 75% exploration success rate.
