Educational Programs for High School Students• Responsible for the coordination and execution of 4 day seminars focused on the United States Constitution, leadership, free enterprise, and American history for high school students around the country. • Duties ranged from content development to maintenance of student information and seminar logistics (travel, meals, guest speakers, etc.) • Worked directly with high school students leading exercises on civics and free enterprise and discussing modern political issues with interested students.• Assisted the Vice President in the development of a new high school program, Service Learning in Public Policy, a weeklong experiential learning seminar challenging students to research public policy issues, form their own solutions, and visit sites for hands-on learning.• Worked to promote positive relationships and satisfaction of expectations with partner organizations.Graduate Programs for Teachers• Aided in the development of graduate level seminars for history teachers. These were weeklong experiential learning workshops that combined expert lecture with travel to the historical landmarks, museums and sources of cultural exposure being discussed.• Responsibilities included site selection and reservations, travel and hotel logistics, communication with program participants, maintenance of past attendee databases and information of incoming applicants• Recruit professors and experts to lead seminars and lectures.• Communicate with professors to meet expectations, conveny participant information and ensure realization of program vision and alignment of the professor's and Freedoms Foundation Vice President of Education's objectives.Other duties as needed included: • Writing and editing of educational and/or promotional materials.• Assisting in Freedoms Foundation events for donors, national volunteer chapter members, and public outreach.
