Supporting a petrochemical joint-venture between ExxonMobil and SABIC, I am accountable for all coating inspection relating to pipeline construction within the planned industrial terminal. Uniqueness to the role includes inspection of all coated 304 stainless steel in both the pipe mill and field environs. I am also responsible for inspection of polyethylene welding. Other responsibilities include general utility inspection, materials inspection, development and collation of documentation relating to the above.

When the Federal Trade Commission mandated our client divest from a parent healthcare organization into a fully independent hospital, all within 16 months (first-of-kind ruling from FTC), I was chosen to lead the new EHR implementation.Planned and lead a full-suite EHR implementation as a result of the first-ever Federal Trade Commission mandated healthcare divestiture. The challenges related to this first-of-kind mandate include:• a 32% reduction in available time from our standard implementation framework• large scope of more than 34 individual solutions to be implemented, to include full Revenue Cycle• navigating additional governance requirements from the divesting organization• integrating multiple in-flight parallel projects (Oracle ERP, Sectra, LabCorp, TransUnion, Navigant, ChartMaxx, etc.)I had the privilege to matrix manage more than 115 associates to achieve our common goal. I have also had the opportunity to assimilate with a solid 3rd party consulting team to deliver value to our client partners. To also make better decisions and uncover the truths that are buried inside the organization, often held down by the hierarchy or by the prevailing wisdom.It is a system of tools, or liberating structures that can be applied to any complex problem or strategic plan.This course is developing military leaders to lead interagency planning collaboration sessions for a whole of government approach to solving complex problems. Multiple interagency planning engagements were conducted with Department of State, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, as well as other governmental entities from Washington D.C.During this course I had the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest colleagues that I have encountered in more than 12 years of service. It truly was a dedicated group of consummate professionals.

When our Commander wanted to double our operational engagement and develop a large scale deployment preparedness plan with our Korean Special Operations Partners, I was chosen to grow and lead the team that made it happen.I was team lead of 6 strategic planners expanding engagement opportunities with our allies across East Asia. In this role I was responsible for managing the day-to-day operational aspects of our projects and programs. Client service through frequent bi-lingual correspondence was of paramount importance to ensure our partnerships produced value.Our objectives were achieved through the development, facilitation, and delivery of educational symposiums, participation in joint humanitarian relief exercises and construction of public infrastructure targeting in underserved communities. My responsibilities included project planning and budgeting, client relations and input, all project related logistics, reviewing deliverables before passing to client, minimizing company exposure and risk, and ensuring project documentation was accurate and complete. I also held responsibility for logistical and budgetary coordination for all contributors and participants, to include coordination of international travel.I thoroughly enjoyed working with our foreign counterparts on multiple successful endeavors. Asia is a beautiful place with a multitude of deep and dynamic cultures to experience.

Kathmandu, Nepal

When our Team Leader was unexpectedly removed from country, I was called upon to fill a role two grades my senior, leading the expansion of our humanitarian support to Nepal and increasing military engagement with Nepal's Special Operations forces. Team Lead of a 5 person team within the US Embassy to synchronize disparate governmental resources from across multiple U.S. agencies to achieve common goals. Daily interaction with US Ambassador, USAID Mission Director, CIA Chief of Station, Nepalese Senior Governmental leaders, and senior military leaders from both the US and Nepalese Army. To enhance this effort and our policy objectives, we sought out and integrated local and national level non-governmental organizations (NGOs) whose purposes were congruent with those of the country team. This whole of government approach, made stronger by the efforts of our NGO counterparts, resulted in multiple beneficial projects and programs throughout Nepal. A few of these programs aimed at reducing infant mortality rates. Others focused on increasing milk yields in domestic cattle and water buffalo. Many projects, approximately 23, related to increasing Nepal’s capacity for earthquake preparedness and response. Our efforts were timely, as these infrastructure projects were heavily utilized during the traumatic earthquakes the country experienced in May of 2015.My time and efforts spent in Nepal were extremely rewarding personally. The beauty of the Himalayas, hospitality of the people, and joy experienced from such a simplistic and serene lifestyle will always be of great value to me.

Port-Au-Prince, Haiti/Fort Bragg, Nc

When an earthquake devastated neighboring Haiti in 2010, I was the Commander of the 82nd Airborne Company first chosen to respond to the humanitarian crisis.Directed the 220 member headquarters section for a 3,200-person organization, providing humanitarian relief to Haitian earthquake victims. Responsible for ensuring all 220 members and 72 pieces of supporting vehicles and large equipment arrived in the earthquake stricken nation within 15 days. Responsible for ensuring the logistical, human resources, medical, training, and morale requirements for each employee were met. Liaised extensively with United Nations counterparts and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to synchronize relief activities. • In concert with Catholic Relief Services my team coordinated the operation of six distribution points, providing food and water to more than 48,000 citizens each day. Synergized United Nations forces and NGO employees to ensure security and the efficiency of each site.• Safely deployed, employed, and returned home a diverse group of soldiers, governmental contractors, and employees from other governmental organizations without incident.• Successfully supervised and maintained accountability of more than $70 million worth of equipment and vehicles transported and assigned to the operation in Haiti.
