This includes gathering use case requirements from all business areas, synthesizing this input into into Enterprise-wide product requirements, managing data governance for these products and working with our tech leads to create data product designs and implementation plans. Our team focus is taking cloud-based data sources, like Google Analytics and Salesforce, and translating them into consistent, well-engineered data products on AWS that are easy for analysts to use.These big data products are built using a modern DevOps CI/CD approach, using the Amazon Web Service 'Platform as a Service' (PaaS) cloud model. Key technologies used include Appflow for integration with SaaS applications, S3 for storage, Glue for serverless computing, Athena for querying data and Cloudwatch for monitoring. In addition to my product owner responsibilities, in this role I manage the team's Kanban-style agile development process, including story grooming, planning, daily standup meetings and biweekly team retrospectives.
