Responsible for the Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Development, Design and Introduction of the Holden VF Commodore Body Skin Stampings from simultaneous concept engineering right through to Start of Volume Production:• Responsibility & management of project budget for critical outer skin panels >11 Million AUD.• Collaborating with Styling, Program Management and Design Engineering to frame the initial project requirements and provide fast conceptual manufacturing feedback to accelerate the design phase of the vehicle development program.• Guiding international tooling suppliers (Japanese & Korean) to design & deliver tooling to achieve multiple global (GM) best practices in measures of cost, quality, safety, yield, throughput, repeatability and robustness.• Facilitated Failure Mode and Effect Analysis reviews with key stakeholders to identify, rate, track, resolve and escalate quality and throughput issues before they have the potential to occur.• Presented project risk vs. benefit proposals to Management including costs, risks/benefits, timing, and alternative options.• Change Management – tracked and implemented hundreds of changes successfully throughout the design process to Production Release.• Lead project manager for the design, development & delivery of the “Holden Employee Transition Centre” (>$100K). Exceeded customer expectations by avoiding efficiency losses for 50+ impacted staff and by utilising my creative flair to design the visual branding.
