At Chubb I managed the home office underwriting for the entire Atlanta Surety book of business, comprised of 38 best in class construction contractors. I evaluated new account submissions and contracts in excess of $100 million to identify key points of risk then submitted my findings and made an underwriting recommendation to the Director of Eastern US Surety. Additionally, I annually conducted an in depth analysis of our customer's CPA prepared financial statements in order to implement necessary underwriting changes to mitigate risk of loss.

At Chubb I completed the new hire crash course on Surety. I gained experience in analyzing potential new accounts for job performance, financial stability, and company leadership, then submitted a comprehensive write up to senior managers for account consideration. I also received rigorous training in vetting contracts for onerous terms, including excessive liquidated damages and forfeiture provisions.

Throughout a semester, I worked in a small team to conduct industry and business analysis for Pool Corporation (NASDAQ: POOL). I created financial models to find an optimal investment forecast and target market price. We also gathered a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of Pool Corp. business and compiled the findings into an investment research report that is distributed to over 20,000 investors.

I read and simplified reports on the potential profitability of Blockchain technology for RWP’s investment decisions. I gathered bankruptcy information on Cenveo (CVO) and worked with a senior analyst to create an analysis report. I completed a franchise vintage analysis for Fatburger to help determine the rate of churn in franchise locations, which traders used to aid a customers decision to invest in the company.
